Financial Web Postings
- In compliance with Section 44.0041 of the Texas Education Code, school districts are now required to post a summary of the proposed budget on the school’s web site concurrently with the publication of the notice.
- Montgomery ISD has attained a Superior Achievement each of the five (5) years since the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) was implemented by TEA.
- In compliance with Texas House Bill 3693, school districts are now required to post utilities statements as of September 1, 2007.
Health Education Instruction Information
All required physical activity policies may all be found in the Student/Parent Handbooks of the individual campuses, which can be downloaded from this site at http://www.misd.org/handbooks.php.
Conflict of Interest Questionnaire – Form CIQ
Effective January 1, 2006, Texas Local Government Code Chapter 176 requires all vendors or potential vendors of the District to fill out and file a form questionnaire developed by the State Ethics Commission. The form must be filed with the District.
The form can be found at the Texas Ethics Commission website:

This questionnaire must be filed no later than the seventh day after the date that the vendor (1) begins contract discussions or negotiations with the district; or (2) submits to the district an application, response to a request for proposals or bids, correspondence, or other writing related to a potential agreement with the District. It is a Class C misdemeanor to fail to file the conflict of interest questionnaire.
In accordance with Chapter 176 all questionnaires must be posted on the District's web site (below).
